Medical disclaimer
Last updated August 2026
DataDoc is an evidence-research and decision-support tool. It summarises published medical literature and clinical guidelines. It does not practise medicine and it does not know you or your full medical history.
Not medical advice
Nothing produced by DataDoc — including triage summaries, answers, and cited evidence reports — constitutes medical advice, a diagnosis, a prescription, or a treatment plan. Always consult a licensed physician, pharmacist, or other qualified health professional before acting on anything you read here.
Never delay or disregard professional medical advice because of something you read in a DataDoc report.
Emergencies
DataDoc is not for emergencies. If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency — including chest pain, difficulty breathing, sudden weakness or speech difficulty, severe bleeding, or thoughts of harming yourself — call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.
No doctor–patient relationship
Using DataDoc does not create a doctor–patient, pharmacist–patient, or any other professional care relationship. No clinician reviews your questions, and no one is monitoring your account for signs that you need care.
Limitations you should assume
- Answers are generated by AI models and can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, even when citations are present.
- Always open the cited sources and verify claims that matter to a decision.
- Evidence coverage varies by topic, language, and publication date; rare conditions and very recent findings are the most likely to be underrepresented.
- Translations are machine-generated. Clinical nuance can be lost between languages.
- Drug-interaction, dosing, and lab-interpretation output is informational only and is not individualised to your weight, kidney or liver function, pregnancy status, or other medications.
Who DataDoc is for
DataDoc is intended for adults 18 and over who want to understand the evidence behind health questions, and for caregivers supporting someone else. It is not intended for use as a medical device, for automated clinical decision-making, or for paediatric dosing.
