Terms of service

DataDoc is an information and research tool that summarises published medical literature and guidelines with citations. It is not a healthcare provider and does not deliver medical care. Your use is subject to our medical disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your email current so we can reach you about your subscription.

• Do not use DataDoc to make clinical decisions for other people in a professional capacity without independent verification.
• Do not upload another person's medical records without their permission.
• Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute generated reports as your own product.
• Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, reverse-engineer the retrieval pipeline, or overload the service.
• Do not use DataDoc for anything unlawful or to generate harmful instructions.

Triage sessions and general questions are available at no cost. Generating full cited evidence reports is metered: free accounts receive a limited number of reports each month, and subscribers receive unlimited reports. Current plan details and any trial period are shown on the pricing page before you pay.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access through the end of the period you have paid for. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law; if something went wrong, contact us and we will look at it fairly.

You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us the limited licence needed to process your input, generate a response, and store your history so you can return to it. You are responsible for having the right to submit any document you upload.

The DataDoc name, interface, prompts, and retrieval pipeline are ours. Reports you generate are yours to use personally; the underlying cited literature remains the property of its publishers and is subject to their own licences.

DataDoc is provided "as is". We do not warrant that output is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular decision, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any health outcome arising from your use of DataDoc. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts other users or the service at risk. You may stop using DataDoc and delete your account at any time.
